Cherry Mine Disaster of 1909 Program

June 10 –  Tiskilwa Historical Society invites the community to a program on the Cherry Mine Disaster of 1909.  The fire, which killed 259 men and boys, still ranks as the third most deadly mine disaster in American coal mining history. On Monday evening at 7:00 p.m., All programs at Museum on Main are free of charge and open to the public.
