Kayak, Hike, and Bike the Hennepin Canal

May 4 – Friends of the Hennepin Canal activity – Kayak/Canoe, hike or bike event starting at boat ramp at the Visitor Center just off Rt 40 ( follow road all the way back from entrance of park will end at boat ramp ) at 10:30am to Wyanet boat launch ( Lock 21 campground) . You can kayak, hike or bike to Wyanet, eat lunch, take a break then back to car which would be about 10 miles or just go to Wyanet ( 5 miles) then shuttle back to visitor center to pick up car. A $20 min. donation and money will go to fund a kayak launches to be put on canal. We will have event stickers provided by Shelly Barreto. Carlos Barreto can provide rental kayaks if needed. Lunch will be served at Wyanet and Pat Herrmann will be manning the grill. If you plan to attend see the Facebook page to sign up.
